Lainey graduated in 2001 from the International Academy of Design and Technology with a diploma in Interior Design, a program recognized around the world. In 2003 Lainey joined the administrative team at Royal LePage Homeward and became a Registered Real Estate Agent in 2004. From there it was an easy transition to begin to meld the two industries and develop a business to create "designs to sell and designs to stay."
